the staff were super friendly and helpful, made us feel welcome right away! had a comfy bed and the food was really good. breakfast had a nice variety too, lots to choose from. easy to find and had good parking options. loved the outside seating area, perfect for relaxing.
but the room was kinda warm n the shower had low water pressure which was not great. also, the bathroom was a bit outdated and needed some TLC.

Fantastic friendly staff and great breakfast!
I had a wonderful stay with a spacious family room that felt welcoming and cozy. The highlight for me was the breakfast. it was a generous buffet with a great variety of freshly prepared options. The staff were incredibly helpful and made me feel right at home, but I did notice some minor wear and tear in the bathroom that could use attention.

Multiple rooms felt tired and outdated, with some spaces needing refurbishment—certain bathrooms looked a bit worn. I noticed lingering odors in one room, which wasn’t ideal, although the hotel made a room switch easy. Breakfast fell short for vegetarians. options were limited and the coffee didn’t reach the right temperature. A bit of noise from the road outside also posed challenges to getting a good night's sleep.

I recently spent two nights at the Corn Mill Lodge Hotel and had a mix of experiences. I really liked the spacious bedroom. it had a super comfy bed and great heating. The room had an ironing board and iron, which I appreciated. WiFi connection worked well, too. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially Ruth at the front desk, who made check-in smooth and welcoming. The restaurant offered a good breakfast selection in a pleasant setting. The outdoor terrace looked inviting but I didn’t get a chance to use it. On the downside, I noticed the bathrooms need an update. there was low water pressure in the shower, and during peak breakfast hours, the dining area felt chaotic. Finding a table was challenging with the layout. some tables were underused while others were overcrowded. I had issues with noise. traffic outside my room was a bit disruptive at times, making it harder to wind down. Despite these issues, the overall vibe of the hotel and the staff's eagerness to help added a personal touch to my stay.

The bed was incredibly comfy, and I loved those ginger biscuits left for me! The staff were not just helpful. they gave off a vibe like they really cared — especially that friendly receptionist who made me feel right at home.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but honestly, it felt worth every penny.
